Jute is one of the most affordable natural fibres and is second only to cotton in amount produced and variety of uses of vegetable fibres. Jute Rope is made from a hard natural fibre. This natural jute has a polypropylene core. Natural Material and Natural colour. It has good resistance to sunlight and good knot-holding ability.

Hi. I'm wanting to get a rope for a student Tug of War. I am working on a budget so would like to get one that is good quality but as affordable as possible. Could you advise if the 20mm option is sufficient? Or would 28mm be advisable?

It does depend a bit on the age of the students and how competitive the tug of war will be.
20mm can work if it’s younger students or a more casual/fun event. It’s more budget-friendly, but it will feel thinner in the hands.
28mm is the better all-round option. It’s easier to grip, more comfortable, and much better suited if you’ve got older students or a proper contest.
If it’s secondary school age or above, we’d recommend going for 28mm if your budget allows. If it’s younger students and you’re trying to keep costs down, 20mm will still do the job.
