6mm Natural Jute Rope (By The Metre)
Natural Jute Rope
Natural Jute rope is one of the most popular natural ropes available on todays market. RopeServices UK introduced natural jute in 2016 and the demand is getting stronger. Jute rope is used daily, to manufacture a very wide selection of different products. Our natural jute bannister ropes being our greatest seller, closely followed by our jute climbing ropes and battling ropes. Our jute rope is fitted with a polypropylene core, this strengthens the rope and gives the rope a better breaking strain.
Jute rope is very soft to handle, durable, and easy to splice. Our 6mm jute rope is made up of a 3 strand construction, but the 8mm to 44mm is made up of a 4 strand construction.
This rope is spun from the fibre of the Corchorus which is made up of between 40 to 100 plants in the Malvaceae Family. We stock Natural Jute rope from 4mm to 44mm diameter and is available by the metre, length, coil or reel. Jute rope is soft to the touch making it perfect for bannister ropes and handrail ropes.
Natural jute rope is a strong, hard wearing, natural fibre rope, which is becoming extremely popular for use as decking ropes, gym ropes, bannister ropes and also battling ropes.
RopeServices UK offers jute rope from diameter 4mm up to 44mm.

Q Hi, what's the best way to cut this rope and how would I seal / stop the cut end? ThanksAsked on 26/01/2022 4:52 pmA
Hi, Thank you for your question. As this rope is natural it's not advised to seal the ends. We would advise wrapping a good electrical tape around the rope where you would like to cut. Cut through the centre of the tape with a good sharp knife leaving the tape on each side to stop the rope from fraying. Regards RopeServices UK

Good strong rope. I bought this to make a washing line and I bought jute rope because it is said to be stronger than the cotton ropes often sold as washing lines. This is a quality product which will hopefully give years of service. The only downside is that it does look thicker than 6mm. I will have difficultly getting pegs onto the line. Otherwise excellent.
