It is imperative to subtract 10% from the breaking load for each splice made in the rope. Additionally, please be aware that weights can fluctuate, particularly with natural products, due to differences in manufacturing processes and materials utilised.

Nice and lightweight , good quality rope

28mm, 12m recovery rope. Looks a very good quality rope that is well constructed. The upside is that it is lighter than I expected too, so not a hassle to lug around. Haven't tested it's strength yet.

Recently ordered a 10m x 36mm Polysteel tow rope for recovery and off road use. Was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful craftsmanship, attention to detail with the sleeves on the loops, and quality. It’s very good value for money too. Wanted something decent that’s actually made in this country not some cheap rubbish made in China that will snap on the first pull. Top marks for a top quality product.

I have a historic Zil 131H (1978) and needed a substantial tow rope.
