2 x 18mm Black Staplespun Mooring Ropes x 15 Metres – Stainless Steel Thimble
This pair of 18mm Black Staplespun Mooring Ropes offers the classic look of traditional natural fibre rope with the durability and performance of modern synthetic materials.
Each rope is supplied and professionally finished with an eye splice incorporating a stainless steel thimble at one end for secure connection to shackles, rings, or mooring hardware. The stainless steel thimble provides excellent corrosion resistance in marine environments while protecting the eye from wear and abrasion under load. The opposite end is neatly taped and heat sealed to prevent fraying.
The approximate break load of the rope prior to splice is 4700 Kg’s.
If you require any shackles, please see here.
Why Choose Black Staplespun?
Black staplespun is a hairy synthetic rope made from twisted polypropylene fibres. It has the appearance and construction style of traditional natural fibre ropes, but with far greater resistance to weathering and wear.
The slightly hairy surface gives it a soft, comfortable feel while also improving abrasion resistance. It is lightweight, easy to handle, easy to splice, and ideal for regular marine use.
